Celine Rodenas
Céline started kiting almost nine years ago. Coming from the French Alps mountain, she had to move to Montpellier, in the south of France, a perfect place to follow her new passion.
From the start, she goes full-in, and starts competing only 3 and a half month after learning to kitesurf. Soon after that, she starts collecting trophies, as french national champion, but also winning in several international competitions, in the freestyle discipline.
Between her travels all over the world, she also becomes editor in chief of a kitesurfing internet site for a few years, and slowly slowly becomes more and more interested in coaching.
It's now been four years since Céline started being specialized in coaching. Now that she is retired from competing, and after getting her diploma, she is a full-time international coach: with KiteAcademy, but also as a freelance.
Find Céline on one of our spots, were she will not only share her passion and knowledge, but also her smile and happiness!

Yves Delaunay
Yves grew up in between the skate-parks in his hometown in south of France, Marseille, and a wild and desert beach called “Beauduc” every free days his family had. That's where he saw his first kites fly in the early 2000s.
He sees from the beginning that his upbringing in board-sports, with years of skateboarding and in-line skating, will naturally bring him to kitesurfing. But the gear is expensive, and it's only in 2007, aged 20, that he can afford his first kite, after watching countless hours of kite surfers and flying stunt kites on the beach. It was a revelation.
With lots of high level kiters helping him at the beginning, he very quickly progressed in freestyle, in the many spots of South of France. That's how he understood how it was important to have proper coaching, the good tips at the correct moments. From then on, he also started helping his friends with their progression. While still doing his studies, he was recruited by the Best Kiteboarding team in 2011, for whom he produces promotional freestyle videos.
After working without an instructor diploma, he finally got an IKO Diploma in 2012, as soon as his studies finished, and started coaching right away! He traveled quite a bit the last few year, enabling him to gain experience and know how in coaching. Now is time for him to join the KiteAcademy Team!
As a coach, Yves it the most technical team member. His kitesurfing level being the highest of the group, you can also see it in his coaching: he will go after details!

Alattin Doğdu
Alattin was (and still is) a mountain tour guide. He was 10 years in outdoors mountain sports (rock climbing, mountaineering...), and spent more then 200 days a year in a tent at more then 3000 meter high, and never came to the sea. He was the owner of the biggest indoor climbing wall in Turkey. But one day in 2007, while working in Istanbul, he saw a kite on a beach there, and decided to give it a go. His mountain days were finished instantly!
He changed his lifestyle to fit his new passion, living on the beach for the last 6 years now. He traveled all over the world to live his passion and follow the wind seasons. In 2009, he passed his instructor diploma (IKO), and worked as a freelancer in the Philippines, in South Africa, and in many different spots in Turkey since then. His kite-surfing level improved, and he was signed by the Ozone National Kite-surfing Team in 2011. His years of teaching and his level in kite-surfing naturally brought him to coaching.
His natural patience and calm is easily transmitted to his students, enabling him to give them the confidence they need to try and learn new things. No way to get frustrated on something with him, he will find a way to make you do it!
He is also in a new member of the KiteAcademy team, but without a doubt he will be a guest favorite from the beginning!

Pınar Başoğlu
Pinar grew up in the south of Turkey, in Izmir, in the city, and very early started skating, through which she discovered Ice Hockey, her first high level sport! She played at the highest level possible: at 21 years old, she was already a member of the first Turkish national team qualifying and participating at the woman world championships!
As she started her studies in Environmental Engineering, her love of another sport, skateboarding, made her take an important decision... As the only girl part of the Vans Skateboard Team, she had to stop ice hockey to be able to keep on skateboarding and finish her studies. She kept on skateboarding throughout her studies, but also once she started working, as Cultural Manager, in Turkey, but also throughout Europe.
In 2009, she finally had an opportunity to start kitesurfing, something she's been wanting to do for a long time... The first two years, she managed to keep on working and skateboarding at a high level, and still progressing and enjoying kitesurfing. But in 2011, she decided it was time: kitesurfing had become too big of a part in her life to not live it to the fullest: she quite her job and stated instructing.
She soon became one of the best girls rider in Turkey, certainly one of the most hard-core one! Her experience in coaching in many sports (Coaching Ice Hockey and Skateboarding at a very high level, but also wake-boarding), made her a rider's favorite coach from the beginning!
As a coach, Pin10 will always make sure you have fun on the water, and push you to go beyond your limits! Her motto: you can't progress if you're not having fun!
